You can browse listings and save favourites without an account, but to contact property owners/realtors you will need to create one.

To find rental listings, use the search bar on the homepage or property listings page. You can filter by island, price range, rental type (short-term or long-term), number of bedrooms, and other criteria to find the perfect rental for your needs.

How do i contact a property owner or realtor?

Once you find a property you’re interested in, simply click on the listing and use the in-app messaging feature to contact the property owner or realtor directly. You can discuss availability, ask questions, and confirm rental details.

What are the typical rental terms?

Each property has different rental terms, such as minimum stay requirements, lease agreements for long-term rentals, and house rules. Review these details with the property owner or realtor before confirming your stay.

Can I review properties and leave feedback?

Yes! After your stay, you can leave a review on the property’s listing. Your feedback helps future renters make informed decisions and also assists property owners/realtors in improving their offerings. To leave a review, go to the listing page and click the Write a Review button.

Are there additional fees for rentals?

Some property owners or realtors may charge extra fees for cleaning, security deposits, or other services. Be sure to check the listing details and communicate with the property owner/realtor to confirm all costs.

What payment methods do property owners accept?

Lignum Living does not accept payments for booking. Property owners and realtors set their own payment methods. Always confirm payment details before proceeding.

Property owners can list their properties for free. However, realtors must pay a subscription fee to access premium features such as increased visibility, featured placements, and analytics.

How can I increase my property’s visibility?

Property owners can pay a small fee to have their listing placed in a featured spot, which increases visibility and helps your property stand out. Realtors can also upgrade to a premium subscription, giving them access to featured placements and advanced analytics to ensure their properties get more exposure to potential renters.

How do I manage my property listings?

You can update, pause, or remove your listings at any time through your host/realtor dashboard in the app. You’ll also be able to track inquiries and respond to messages from potential renters.

Can I list both short-term and long-term rentals?

Yes, you can list both short-term and long-term rentals. Simply set the appropriate rental terms and availability for each property.

What happens if a renter causes damage to my property?

Since Lignum Living does not handle transactions directly, we recommend requiring a security deposit and having a rental agreement in place. You can also include house rules to minimize risks.
